L ike the morning light shining through a forest, VCOM prides itself on sustaining an environment for innovative, impactful research. Because of our unique structure as a three- campus institution, we are positioned for success. Our partnerships with Virginia Tech, Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute in Spartanburg, Auburn University and others allow the VCOM community to expand research beyond traditional practices. Growth and research at VCOM demonstrates the college is on track to be one of osteopathic medicine’s top research colleges, while fostering a desire to develop new means to serve the residents of Appalachia.
