Dominican Embassy and VCOM Host AACOM International Alliance I n April 2016, the Dominican Embassy joined VCOM in hosting the annual meeting of the AACOM International Collaborative in Washington, DC. The meeting focused on more than ten years of VCOM outreach in the Dominican Republic, resulting in the development of a continuous care clinic, public health education, emergency center, pediatrics center and week-long international outreach trips each year. The meeting also spotlighted public, private and government partnerships that have enabled the international outreach program at VCOM to grow and flourish, serving as an example

for osteopathic international medicine and global health.
