“ When I had just started at VCOM, Gunnar Brolinson, DO, gave a presentation about the Research program. I had a notebook of ideas and asked him if it would be okay to build and test an invention as a research project. He encouraged me to do so. Faculty and students are involved in the research project. We’ve now built it, filed the patent application, and are testing it.
