o Once students complete the remediation plan and sit for COMLEX Level 2 CE on the assigned date, they will receive a “P” (Pass) grade for the Comprehensive Review Course II. o Those students who have not completed the plan and/or who have not sat for COMLEX Level 2 CE by prior to October 1st of their OMS 4 year will receive an “INC” (Incomplete) grade for the course and will be temporarily withdrawn until they pass COMLEX Level 2 CE. These students will not be eligible for re-enrollment or further financial aid until they pass COMLEX Level 2 CE. The period of withdrawal may not exceed 180 days in a 12-month period or an academic year.  Temporary withdrawal may not exceed a 180-day limit, which is cumulative within the 12-month period or academic year and includes any prior leaves or suspensions in that 12-month period or academic year. Therefore, students should work closely with CIFSS and the Campus Dean to ensure the total number of days of their remediation plan does not exceed the allotted 180 days.  Upon receiving a passing score within the 180-day limit, the student will be re-enrolled to the OMS 4-year.  Those students who do not pass COMLEX Level 2 CE within the 180-day limit will be dismissed C. Students who score less than 460 on COMSAE Phase 2 on the first attempt will receive an “IP” (In Progress) grade for the Comprehensive Review Course II. Students who score less than 460 on the second attempt will receive an “F” (Fail) grade for the Comprehensive Review Course II. To resolve the “IP” or “F” grade and be released to sit COMLEX Level 2 CE, the student is required to do the following: • Meet with CIFSS and the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs for the failure of the first attempt (will meet with the Associate Dean for OMS 4 and GME for a second attempt failure) to design a prescribed remediation plan. The plan includes a tentative date the student is to sit for a second attempt of COMSAE Phase 2 and COMLEX Level 2 CE. o The remediation plan includes providing CIFSS with weekly updates

regarding study plan progress and question bank performance. Additional requirements may be prescribed in the remediation plan. Students must follow and complete a prescribed remediation plan as designed. VCOM will monitor students’ progress toward completion of the prescribed remediation plan and readiness to sit for COMLEX Level 2 CE, which may alter the tentative testing date established in the remediation plan.
